Yelena Lipovetskaya leads the company as a Chief Executive Officer. Her primary role is to define and integrate strategic vision and direction for the business. Yelena builds on her twenty years of technical expertise in chemistry, rheology, charging, materials, process engineering, manufacturing excellence and Six Sigma initiatives to ensure that Cospheric offers the largest selection and the highest quality of precision spherical microparticles in the global marketplace.

Yelena has a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Polytechnic University (now NYU) and a Masters degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. In addition to her education, Yelena's technical expertise is grounded in intensive on-the-job training she received while developing cutting edge technologies in state-of-the-art laboratories such as Sullivan Park Science & Technology Center in Corning, NY, and Xerox Research Center Webster, Xerox's largest research center. These companies are well-known for hiring the brightest scientists and engineers in the world and their commitment to innovation and product quality.

Yelena received her business training through Women’s Economic Ventures (WEV), an organization dedicated to creating an equitable and just society through the economic empowerment of women.
